Roy Miller (Matt Damon) leads a team hunting for weapons of mass destruction, after the fall of Saddam Hussein and the US occupation of Baghdad. With his specialised skills and combat experience. In this unstable region, miller is considered the perfect man to carry out the search. But Miller is hampered by faulty intelligence and the nagging suspicion that he is on a futile quest. Liaising with a sympathetic agent named Brown (Brendon Gleeson) and a Wall Street reporter Lawrie Dayne (Amy Ryan), he sets out to find origins of the weapons’ main source – a sneaky agent known as Magellan. Government operative Clark Poundstone (Greg Kinnear) is keeping a close eye on Miller’s movements, his motives are unclear. Miller soon finds himself caught up in lethal CIA conspiracy after suspecting foul play.
