Robin Williams gives a winning performance in this quirky and original black comedy from director Bobcat Goldthwait.
Lance Clayton (Robin Williams) is a man built on thwarted ambitions. His dreams of becoming a successful writer have resulted in a pile of unpublished manuscripts and a career as a high-school poetry teacher, while his constant efforts to bond with his difficult teenage son, Kyle (Daryl Sabara) are routinely thrown back in his face. Even his relationship with his pretty colleague Claire (Alexie Gilmore) - a relative high point in his life - has its pitfalls. For starters, she'd prefer not to publicly acknowledge that it exits. All this is compounded when a freak accident offers Lance the opportunity to trade in his mediocre life for the one of which he's always dreamed - one of fame, fortune and popularity. But will he possibly be able to reconcile himself to how he achieved it?

The stuff he comes out with and keeps a straight face... His son seems like a really annoying little brat. Mrs doubtfire is a classic. He's a real funny guy.
